Tip for Grievers #14a

Just a coda to my last tip: Even if you've grieved before, this time may be different. I didn't know that.
When my parents died within two months of one another in 1989, I sank into a really deep depression. It took the better part of a decade from my life. So far, with Tom's death, I haven't...yet. It may still come, but this time my experience is different.
I'm older, I spent 19 years working for a hospice organization, it was my husband not my parents, etc. etc. All true and all are contributory to a different experience. Perhaps also, each trip through the fire of grief changes us.
All I'm saying is, when grief touches you for a second or third time, it might not be the same. But still trust yourself.
